The site slopes down towards the beach and has beautiful views over Bream Bay. We wanted to maximise those views from as many rooms in the house as possible, and from the outdoor living areas. To shelter the owners from the predominant sea breeze, we built a courtyard that the house protected, but we also opened it up to the views through the house.
