While on my OE I was lucky enough to work with Sam Lloyd and Marcus Beale at Green Lloyd Architects in London. It was an education in classical architecture. My first project was working on alterations to a 400 year old building, the Innholders Hall. I had to do measured drawings of existing Georgian detailing and reproduce them to a new scale and proportion for the new & altered spaces. It was a truly classical education.
